The Playwright's Project
During this project, everyone in my class wrote a play. The play could be about anything we wanted: Some people wrote about the hardships of teenaged life, others wrote about fantastical creatures, and one person even wrote about boxing bears. The story I created was about a ghost hunter who is conflicted about getting rid of a certain spirit. It's very, very long, and I didn't manage to finish it on the exact time it was due. I managed to complete it the day after, though.

After a long process of critiquing and writing our plays, they were finally finished. We then voted on which plays we thought were the best, and chose those to be preformed, directed and designed by us. I preformed a play called Iphones in 2000 B.C, which is about a boy who gets transported to Egypt with nothing but his iphone to help him. It was a great comedy, and with the help of my fellow actors, we really made it something special.
Some challenges in this project included writing our plays and memorizing lines. It was difficult to make up an interesting, new story that people would like, but with help from others, I eventually found something unique. A success was the final production. I think it went really well, and I was satisfied with the result.
